Toyota workers has a different culture, it's call Integrity. They placed their employees with the right job and they hire people with the right attitude and most qualified person. They make good quality products that people want. This is a recipe for success that Ford have not encountered during the past century.

Sir/first learn about their Culture/they do not try to torpedo each other or play by the good-ole-boy-network to start.

As a retiree of local Toyota operations (engineer) I can say that they don’t have massive head count reduction because of a downturn in income, sales, etc. as this would be short term thinking..not long term. Automotive industry has business cycles as we all know...cost prohibitive to lay people off only to spend money to retrain when times get good. There were no forced layoffs by Toyota during the 2008-2009 downturn that I knew...only voluntary ones I think at the US plants. I just wanted the truth be known...there were no secret forced layoffs..to debunk that myth. The Big 3 go out on a hiring spree when times are good only to lay people off when times get bad...no long term thinking...no surprise to me.
