Could it be? Are we in the mythical "no layoffs to worry about for undetermined time period" age?

It's so sad to see those talented people go. I hope they would still have the severance for my turn.
@ZgJq7mX-2nji... Every year has been AG's worst year for a long time. Hold out and hope for a severance or get brave and move on to success like many before you.
Oh, I think there is some dead weight that can go. That has been part of the problem. Good employees getting laid off and the ones who stay make you say, "huh?"
On one side you'd think "wow! our stock is below $11! there HAS to be layoffs!" but then you look around and thing "who else can they fire at this point?" It's really quite sad when you think about it.
Layoffs planned at AG for sure. We have been told it will be our worst year ever.
If the company goes bankrupt there is no severance for anyone right?
Does FP still have two heads of Design?
Y..not recently purchased a 15 million home, company still losing money hand over fiat... that means his severance payment is at at least that much.
The fact that they've fired 2,200 workers — or 22 percent of its corporate workforce — over the past 12 months and they've run out of heads to chop is not exactly something to celebrate nor should it embolden the OP with a feeling of confidence in the future state of the business. The fact that it's been over a year since Y-not was brought in and things still have not turned around suggests a grave future for this company.
That pools not a bad idea, thanks!
Absolutely! It's safer than ever now! Take a long vacation! Buy a house! Dig a pool! Have that baby! The timing is perfect, Mattel is a sure thing. No brainer! Win-win! Zero risk!
