Can these people be more wicked?
In VA, you not only lose your job and HC, but you're stuck with Anthem or Optima if you try to buy your own insurance. The most a single person can earn to avoid the crazy monthly premiums is $45k! My expected premium cost, if I don't use COBRA, is $1150 per month! You can do short term plans (I guess) but that's only good for a few months.
