Citi recently laid off several IT employees from Hagerstown site saying that they will shut down the site. Several other IT employees also got laid off from Texas, Sioux Falls, Jacksonville and other sites. Hundreds of US Citizens lost their jobs. Most of those jobs are going to TCS, India. Very sad..

Strangest a nd longest hiring process I have ever experienced. Their background checking company emailed me just a few days I was to start, stating they couldn't get my W2's from 2012, 13 & 14 and that I had to get them for them. I called the IRS (to ask if companies do retrieve a person's W2's and they said yes, and IRS told me to go online to IRS.gov, create a profile, and I could retrieved them that way, which I did and then forwarded them to Citi's outsourcing background co "Yale" something or other, I then called Citi back a few days later to see if and when I am starting my job. They said it will take a while, and that they would let me know. In total, I spent about 20 hrs of my time (applying, phone interview, face to face interview, then their fingerprinting machine wouldn't take my prints, so I had to go back another day, still didn't work, so they did manual prints, they said it will take a while since they are manual: ultimately, no one has ever called me back, so I am still looking for job. The 3 Citi bldgs in Sioux are shutting down and moving to new office that is just ONE bldg, they will be moving by end of 2019. SO..... I'm guessing they will be letting people go, sounds about right......... Thanks Citi...... gotta love that place....NOT
So you resigned last week, huh? Just know your reputation is garbage and everyone knows you’re a fraud. Going to another “bank” won’t change that. You know who you are.
