Love those Ford SPIN Scooters?
WASTE OF MONEY AND EFFORT. More people let go in pursuit of something no one over 25 years old will buy.
Thanks Ford!

I've tried one, it's really cool.
Not sure if it's profitable, but the cool factor is really there.
I've also tried Tesla Model 3 - not sure if it's profitable but its really cool.
My entire thinking about our industry changed after that Model 3 test drive - we have to go in this direction, there is no other way.
So true:
was based as a manufacturing company we have since became a marketing company.
We can’t build a profitable small car with four wheels, how can we build a scooter with two!! Our DNA was based as a manufacturing company we have since became a marketing company. Honda is a manufacturing company and has been building profitable Accords, Civics, Goldwing Motorcycles in the heart of Ohio for over 35 years. If they enter the scooter market, fords scooter division would see a major layoff.
'Sooo' is right, sooo I voted up - You rent them, However I also voted you back up from -1 because I recently learned that there is an angry 'anti-scooter' culture out there. Just search on 'hate scooters' and the infotainment will amaze ! p.s. I am being pushed out of my Ford job due to toxic politics, so, FYI people - I am not a troll. I too think the scooter idea was/is not good business sense in the long-term.
The margins on the rentals must add significantly to the bottom line.
I like scooters. Also, we learn a lot by building them
Sooo... I'm wondering if you realize that you don't actually buy the scooters.
