Was shocked to receive a package today, since I thought I would be safe since I'm relatively young and not on pension plan. Noticed that a lot of the others in my finance department were the doers rather than the talkers that got packages. Regardless, grateful for all Ford has done for me. Hired me out of university, paid for education after university and not a bad termination package.
I'm really going to miss it. To everyone that still has a job I wish you all the best!
To the ones who lost their jobs today - remember to not dwell on the past and hit the job market as soon as you can. I'm going to hand in the package tomorrow and just try my best to bounce back.
