It looks like that today is the day when workers were hit with the sad truth. Ford, as we know it, and as we remember it is no longer a living entity. There is something that bares the same name, but has little to do with the company we enjoyed working for. I wish good luck to everyone.

They are eventually going to lay off All of the loyal ford people who will get their family & extended family to buy ford cars and keep only the people who drive Honda’s and Kia. Henry ford always said to pay people enough to buy the product, good luck.how many buyers have grandparents or parents that worked for ford? A lot.
It was like a bloodbath today. Working at Ford will NEVER be the same.
We now have the Sword of Damocles hanging over our heads, so we wait until SRD 2.0, SRD 3.0, etc., to see when we get Hacketted from the company
So true. I think people feel like we've been playing defense and see no bright future no matter what.
The predictions are also bleak, next 10 years will be rough - we'll likely be acquired.
