My husband works at Ford. He was a wreck before work this morning. I keep hitting refresh in hope of seeing any news - the last thing I want to do is keep messaging him on a day such as this.

Question was asked re:company cars. Redesigned Finance LL6 here. We need to turn in by May 31.
It has been going on all day in ITO. LL3 has calendar blocked with private appointments next two days. The selection process not on merit or skill. The hardest working, most helpful and most talented were all chopped. I heard insensitive colleagues asking help with work before they left and asking if they could call them for help.
Admittedly they did manage to axe one inept supervisor.

My supervisor got released. I am at a loss for words. Everyday people queued up for help doing their jobs. I am physically ill thinking about it. How can we be releasing the best people?
Yup.. LL5 let go today. Still lots of meeting on LL4 calendar today and tomorrow.

Four technical specialist LL6 were terminated. The four that do all the work. The non-contributing LL6 were not touched
My co worker was just terminated. Very sad day and this appears to be going on all day

I’m at credit (won’t say what department) but we just received notification that our department’s separations have all been completed.
Same boat as the one who answered the question. Husband is in Information Technology.. I don't want to ask him. He is stressed as is.
