I got called on June 8th and laid off, could they have violated the WARN act with that being recently instated? Could be a way to squeeze some pennies out of mikey's pocket!
Ok, I started at the New Orleans DXC office last March, this May 8th my furlough began, and I was called and told I was to be a part of the RIW (Reduction in Workforce - getting laidoff) on June 12th.
Were a digital company so Yes layoff's should occur at Rock and Mortar sits that doesn't hold instructure. We all should be working from home saving the company money on Utilities, Real estate costs, office furniture and everything else that goes into having an office.
