No one got hours this week, and no telling when and how long this stupidity might happen in the future. Beyond any doubt, Sears is the worst run company in the world, and it's got some f---ing nincompoops running the show. The company pays okay, but what good does that do anyone if they can't get you the hours because they don't even know who's scheduled to be serviced? People have already been leaving in droves, and I know this will be the final straw for a lot of people. It's time to head for greener pastures.

The entire laughable existence of sears and their management should be closed down. There ARE better jobs than working for sears who does not appreciate their employees

Dude, it was time to leave for greener pastures 8 years ago. Anyone that has stuck around this long is guilty of aiding and abetting Eddie’s decade and a half long torture and murder of Sears.

I've been laid off already month and half. However that was hard to accept, after day or two, I felt much better. Still looking for a new job. But, I accepted it as a blessing for something better in my life. They told me they will pay me back my vacation hours. After 5 weeks, they payed me 17 hours. They told me remaining 40 hours will be payed in next paycheck. I don't count on it. Tried to call HR lady to complain. She is not answering the phone. Might be, she is already gone. My advice - get you what you can and get a hell out of there as soon as you can. Don't worry. It's over.
