Thread regarding Southwestern Energy Co. layoffs

2019 EOY and CPO

SPRING, Texas--(PLUNGER WIRE)--

Bill Way, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Plunger Officer (CPO) of Southwestern Energy, (SWN) received the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2019 Award in the Energy and Toilet Clogger category in Gulf Coast Area. The award, conferred by Ernst & Young, recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in renting bad tuxedos at FakeCEOtuxrental dot com and areas such as innovation (such as converting the Chefs daily specials into a toilet clogger) financial performance (such as leveraging the golden plunger as debt equity) and personal commitment to their businesses (5th floor Exec bathroom) and communities. Bill Way was selected by an independent panel of judges and plumbers.

“This is strong recognition for the entire team (the Chef, housekeeping, facility plumbers) at Southwestern Energy who together have helped forge and clog a new and smelly future for our Company,” Silly Billy said. “We’ve (who am I kidding it was all me!) rebuilt (commercial grade extra strengthen pluming on 5) and repositioned (the plunger gets used daily you know) SWN to win and clog the “loo” (that’s for your JB) and we’re ready to capture even bigger (ok post breakfast that is an understatement to my bowel abilities) opportunities going forward.”

In honoring Way and his performance on the “loo”, the judges’ concluded that Way’s performance as a transformational and plunger leader during the turnaround and clearing the pipes of SWN deserved special attention (major understatement based on grunting post breakfast) since they said it revealed determination (both on the toilet and then off the toilet while plunging), resilience and courage (to claim the golden plunger) to lead his (not the employees cause hey he laid off his best and brightest since CEO) company during challenging economic and post egg frittata times across the energy and plunger industry from 2016 to present.

As a Gulf Coast Area award winner, Way is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur and CPO Of The Year 2019 National Awards. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur and CPO Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced in November 2019.

Haha. I seen these posts and just laughed and laughed. Especially the Fake CEO bad tux rental. SWN will need some good plumbers and stuff.

I’ve been dabbling with plumbing in the home. It’s not always easy. Replacing old faucets under a cabinet is challenging if the old copper lines are corroded. You would like to remove the old lines without breaking the pipe coming through the wall. Start two weeks early and spray the line attachments with Liquid wrench or WD40. Do this ever other day. You will need two wrenches. The pipe in the wall must be held steady. Once the old lines are successfully removed, it’s downhill. Working under a cabinet is not a joy. Use blankets and an old pillow. You won’t have much room to use your arms. Be aware, family members may hear you say “fudge or fiddle sticks”. Don’t forget to turn the water off.
