The award, conferred by Ernst & Young, recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in renting bad tuxedos at FakeCEOtuxrental dot com and areas such as innovation (such as converting the Chefs daily specials into a toilet clogger) financial performance (such as leveraging the golden plunger as debt equity) and personal commitment to their businesses (5th floor Exec bathroom) and communities. Bill Way was selected by an independent panel of judges and plumbers.

In honoring Way and his performance on the “loo”, the judges’ concluded that Way’s performance as a transformational and plunger leader during the turnaround and clearing the pipes of SWN deserved special attention (major understatement based on grunting post breakfast) since they said it revealed determination (both on the toilet and then off the toilet while plunging), resilience and courage (to claim the golden plunger) to lead his (not the employees cause hey he laid off his best and brightest since CEO) company during challenging economic and post egg frittata times across the energy and plunger industry from 2016 to present.
As a Gulf Coast Area award winner, Way is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur and CPO Of The Year 2019 National Awards. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur and CPO Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced in November 2019.
