Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Reality hard to swallow

Would you want to hire a contractor to renovate your home at the highest cost possible , then learn they have no trained staff , no tools , no other objective , other than cashing your payments for a useless job done ( if anything done) ?

The contractor would treat their crew like slave labour , instilling an overall resentment . No raises , supply no authentic tool sets to perform the tasks .

What do you think your home would look like ?

And to top off insult to injury , the same contractor wants you to refer them to your neighbours and come back to perform more ineptness for more money .

DXC has a serious issue with coming to terms with reality .

As a 20 year ex DXC employee, the only thing I got out of my experience was the internal validation on how I performed my tasks were done with integrity, morals and professionalism. Not just because I cared about the clients , but also because that’s how it’s done .

I walked away knowing that the gratitude I received from my clients was directed to me and not to DXC .

That’s what I took from my experience. And DXC can’t own that gratitude , it was given to me .

Recognize your worth to the client and to yourself and walk out with pride that a job well done is honourable to those that give and receive it.

The clients are not deaf dumb or blind , even if Management within DXC act like it

At the end of the day its the circle of shifting cost.... RMG - CSC/DXC.....CSC/DXC to whoever buys the sorry wreck of a company..

RMG manglement look good because they have made the savings and DXC manglement sate shareholders as they win the business.... DXC then shift the cost through WFR or move to offshore .. Its Jane or Joe Smith who suffers be they RMG/DXC delivery staff.

The truth is that the Clients do not care. I have sat in meetings with RMG Senior Management and these managers were fully complicit in breaking the law to bring offshore staff into Chesterfield to save money. They continued this practice when the NSP's took over the work. I have now retired from RM, thank God.
