Anyone else keeping their laptop, iPad and phone? Its near impossible to send it back after the SFA help desk was let go.

Tape the laptop shut, tape a label on it, drop it off for shipping? :-)
I threw mine like a discus towards NJ hoping it would make it intact. Unfortunately, it only traveled about 40 yards and was run over by a garbage truck. Oddly enough, the value of the laptop didn't change. So no real loss for the publishing and learning giant and world leader.
I just put my laptop in a old amazon box with no padding.... don’t care how they get it...

What will happen if we do not return our laptops?
yeah- except electronics boxes are padded to keep the computer/iPad from being smashed to smithereens, which is why the boxes are $. Definitely not taking the chance of packing thousands of $ of equipment up, just for Pearson to turn around and dock my severance when it's arrives to them in pieces. They should send computer shipping boxes when your employment is terminated, end of story.

Unfortunately we do not have any boxes for shipping. You can, however, use an existing box you may have at home or expense the packaging with your manager’s permission.

If they don’t send a box with the label, I’m not sending it back. Its that simple. I’m not paying one red cent to this company. Pearson is so inept in every category.
Had to pay out of pocket to have my laptop & iPad packeted up last year. They will ONLY send a mailing label. Pack it up yourself and save $30 bucks if you can.
I’ve had my expensive report over due for months before and never got a call from AMX. I also notice my card was paid off as well. Not sure how it all works though?! We will also prob never get a box and maybe a shipping label come this fall hahahah!
HR told me that IT would send me a label as my end date approached. Haven’t received anything with 3 days to go and not sure why we should chase them down to return their equipment when they laid us off. You would think they would have this process down, what with letting thousands of people go over the last 6+ years.
Pearson has paid off my AMX multiple times when I forgot to do a suspense report. I also had my card over paid showing a credit, not sure why...

AmEx literally called my wife—not clue how they got her number—when I had a report way overdue.
Not true- they do report your corporate cards activity, it's literally on my credit report.
Also- why would you expense anything on AMEX- you would have to wait on your expense report to get approved. Not taking that chance. Not sure how they expect to get everything back when they are only emailing shipping labels and not sending boxes to send everything back in.
American Express does not report your corporate card's activity.
Don't use your Amex. You have to take those out in your name, so if it's not paid off, it will affect your credit score. Just email whoever reached out to you from HR to get it figured out.
If you have a Pearson AMX just buy the box with that. Shipping label should have been sent to your email. If not just email HR..who the heck wants to keep a c-appy laptop and IPad... I for one have my own iPad and laptop. Who doesn’t now a days!?
I still haven’t received anything either. Granted, they did lay off a ton of people, but not surprising that everything is a cluster until the end. I guess they’ll figure it out eventually!
Unless they send me a computer box to pack it all up in- they won’t be getting it back. Why would I BUY a box to send back Pearson property. Not happening. When I have left other companies, they have always sent everything I’ve needed to ship all company property back to them. Literally typical Pearson.

HR handles all returns for laptops phones etc. check your personal email you gave HR they will send you a shipping label. I’ve already received mine.
In all seriousness, how do we send back company property once we are off staff? Nothing has been given to me to return company property. Don’t they want it?
