There may never be a better time for the union as a whole to have the upper hand. With aviation orders booming, can Culp afford any more disruption in the supply chain? If the company is allowed to continually take back from it's blue collar workers while rewarding incompetent executives it will keep getting worse. Don't forget the last four years, or the future. Now is the time to make a change, send GE a clear message: WE WON'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!

D rate here. Voted NO today.
With the two other big unions ( Lynn and IAM 912) probably voting it down. Schnectady could be the one to push it over the 50 plus 1 of the roughly 6,600 members it needs to send it back to the bargaining table.
The T-Rates got screwed because the D-Rates voted to screw them. They did it out of fear for themselves. They will do it again because they are scared and only looking out for themselves. Nothing will change, it will just be more of the same. There is no unity in the Union. It's a pathetic joke that's nothing but lip service. I can't wait until there are no more T-Rates left because then the D-Rates will turn on each other and eat their own.
D Rate here. A “NO” from me. Think of the old days when you first started and Members actually went to bat for each other. Sickens me to see the T/D division! The Hall NEEDS to smooth over the screwing they gave the the T guys. It’s not their fault!
The onion? What about all those high priced....id--ts called the leadership program kids that can’t find their a$$ in a paper sack... I vote get rid of the useless indirect labor that adds absolutely NO value to the shareholders...
What a great contract you guys are getting, and just think you have to pay the onion for that. Think of that each week. LMFAO.
Typos happen but the power point spell checkers didn’t disappoint... now if we could just get them to learn how to use micrometers correctly like those union folks can.... let’s put it another way...I sold my stick when it was a lot longer than yours..... cheers.....
you sold your stick? learn to spell fat fingers
Honey I sold my stick at 32.19 and left on my own for higher pay and better health insurance...sounds like you’re the dip sh$t
It hits salary before hourly. It always has. Dip shat
I had a comment taken down so I will repost .... in another way while vulgar comments are left up ..shm! as long as the union is fighting and salary sits with their heads tucked.... what they take away from hourly sweet hearts they plan on taking away from you! Remember that when you cannot draw your pension because it wasn’t funded for the $211 million Golden parachute...team up together and take back your company! Grow a pair!
D rate here and I'm definitely a NO !
Your wasting your breath. The legacy workers at Schenectady will only vote Yes and I don't blame them. Why would you wanna screw up the gravy train. 273 had the numbers before the layoffs in 18 but now it's not possible unless the d rates vote no which they won't.
You will take that contract that was written on Culps toilet paper and be happy for the next 4 years. Should I vote yes or no?
Yeah you will
