Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

New UK Company being formed from sc-aps: CXD Infrastructure Solutions UK Ltd

Imaginatively named CXD shakes head.

Based out of Maidstone Data Centre address. Anyone have any more info?

Seems odd, ESFDS would have served the same purpose maybe. Perhaps ESFDS staff will be dragged into this new company? Odd goings on.

Here is how I see this shaping out, looks simple from the past history, starting from HP to HPI/HPE to DXC to Perspecta , and include the mix of CSC, CSRA

  1. DXC ITO/Infrastructure gets split into the CXD company. Something like Perspecta

  2. Sell off CXD or part of it to HPE

There is a similar company that was created in Nevada, US - CXD INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS INC.

This is all a little odd. Here's what we know:

  1. CXD Infrastructure Solutions Inc. was incorporated in Nevada on 29th October 2018 with capital of $7,510,000. Four Officers of the company, all with mailing addresses of DXC's Head Office.

  2. CXD Infrastructure Solutions UK was incorporated in the UK on 2nd April 2019 with three Company Directors again with mailing addresses on DXC's Head Office. Proposed Registered Office address was the Maidstone data centre. CXD Infrastructure Solutions Inc is a shareholder in the UK company.

  3. A change of details was filed in the UK on 2nd April 2019 to change the Registered Address to 3000 Hanover Street Palo Alto.

Now 3000 Hanover Street Palo Alto is HPE's address, which is odd.

So what's going on? Possibly nothing - it costs next to nothing to set up legal entities and it may just have been an idea someone had that's now gone away.

On the other hand, setting up new legal entities is something companies do when they plan to sell off bits of the company - HP did it when they split and HPE and CSC did it when they merged.

It will be interesting to watch this one.

Could do a different route - everyone needs to apply for their position and those not making the grade will be routed out the company.

Mike L is not a shareholder of this company, so something odd is going on.

If the remaining legacy staff ARE going to be transfering to CXD Infrastructure Solutions UK Ltd. (which is looking increasingly likely) for christ sake DONT sign your rights away by signing a new contract !

TUPE rules will apply surely.

It's all part of the Mikey Master Plan.

Now that Mikey has decimated the Legacy business (despite what he says there is still a need for this and it is profitable), what's left of Legacy will be forcibly tansferred to XCD (backwards by name, backwards by nature) and sold to HCL.

Mikey will of course make a sh--load of dosh out of this but stuff the rest of you plebs.

Unethical, greedy, ruthless and masochistic - you gotta hand it to the guy, his plan has been obvious from the start and now the end game is in sight.

Clarification:

The address 'above' of the entity with significant control (75%) is HPE

Yep, it looks pukka!

The address:

3000 Hanover Street, Palo Alto, Ca 9430, United States

is that of HPE!

I thought this was a joke until I saw the companies house registration and the company officers are based at DXC HQ in USA. Gotta keep our eyes on this to make sure they don't start transferring those few people who are left after the bloodbath into this new company. They might then have an opportunity to change existing employees contracts. Losing any UK redundancy rights and length of service entitlements.
