Confirmed 6 laid off today. New hires just came on board within the last month. So they are hiring and firing at the same time. Direct managers did not know until yesterday afternoon that they were laying off in the morning and who was being laid off.

CGBU is Communications GBU, consisting of Tekelec, Acme Packet and Talari acquisitions. This layoff affected the Acme Packet Session border controller group. Telekec manages the group from Morrisville, NC. Unknown if anyone from there got RIFed as well.
