Same, I have not heard a single thing. It's an absolute and utter disgrace. Complete disregard for employee well being. If it was compulsory redundancy we'd be gone by now and have clarity well in advance.

Nice to see certain senior managers in Ireland have made sure their applications are promptly processed though.

Still haven't heard anything - are others still in the same position?

Applied on the 1st day, still no word. Here's hoping they get their act together this week and get this process finished with.

Any insights in how the process is working in Ireland - i.e. are line managers informing people of whats happening or is it just an email from HR that hits your inbox with a offer of 'x' Euro for you to take or leave? Astonishing how much staff are in the dark around the whole exercise. Hopefully this might become clearer now that a few have received offers.....

....I haven't received a Q2 email from Peter Hands. In the original mail, it says the following

"This information will be based on a termination date of 8 July 2019, however, you will be required to commence a period of garden leave prior to this date. The company also reserves the right to amend these dates. "

I was told that 56 were accepted and 30 were rejected without any communications yet, by someone who called the worker's council.

Every week I'm told it'll take another week. I am assuming that the WFR team is stacked with the UK redundancies at the moment hence the holdup.

Rereading the mail, it's not the same redundancies. This is further new ones! So they haven't even finished the Q1 round, and they've started up Q2 already. Exit date 31st July this time...

Same here. Applied for VR almost a month ago and have heard nothing since despite attempts to follow up with HR and line manager. I also haven't received any email indicating VR being extended into Q2.

I (naively?) thought this would be resolved this week as its the end of quarter 1 and the original email stated that garden leave would being no later than June 28th.

...and on top of that, Peter Hands has sent out a new mail indicating that the VR window is open again until 19th July. Interesting, as I have already expressed an interest and have heard nothing.

Not one person I know has had news and it is incredibly frustrating. We need to be able to move on - either make plans on our future careers outside of DXC, or knuckle down and carry on working (until the next WFR round at least).

We now have a situation where employees who applied will be going on holidays and won't be able to check their emails for news. We have all been in limbo for a month now with no indication either way.
