Just received an email an hour ago stating more redundancies for our account. I put in for the voluntary enhanced redundancy this month and have not heard back. Im guessing they want to jip people out of the enhancement and making a new one for the standard package. Not even surprised. Never known a company like it. Rob their employees every chance they get. why risk losing a contract with Leading company? You cant provide a service with no staff to do the job!. My team having literally had 40hours plus overtime in each week constant for the past 2 year just to keep on top of the workload. Just lost another today who applied for redundancy and was accepted. All going down hill

My colleague and I haven't heard about out Q1 VR request either. My manager keeps asking me if I have heard.
Has anyone who applied for VR been rejected? I still haven't heard anything officially but when I asked my line manager for an update, he has told me it was rejected. Anyone else in a similar position?
lol love comment from the Apprentice ... If I was an apprentice I wouldnt worry about comments on here from the older grumpier people who think there better than anyone else just because they have been at CSC for years... They have probably been there for years as they could sit on there backside and not do much anyway and were in a comfy job and had no drive to try to better themselves. Good luck to you if you released, you will probably easily find a better role quickly..
If you have applied for the enhanced redundancy package, and put in again this time you will still get the enhancement, its only new submission that wont receive the enhancement

@ZJFg8k3-1raw - logic is they can reduce the people applicable for VR and getting enhanced terms and save on ££/$$ instead by doing a CR Pool, they could say that they only got 500 out of 1000 people for VR (even though it may not be true) and we need to go to CR redundancies now getting rid of another 500 but CR at statutory redundancy pay

Im based in co.durham UK, we provide service for a leading bank, i have been put in the pool for redundancies again received the email yesterday evening, But i have already applied for the last one and not heard anything back.is anyone else is this situation? I dont get it, its not fair on anyone why risk it going to compulsory to someone else who is quite happy in there job, when im sat hear wanting to go, just give me my money and let me go. I cant stay hear doing 3 peoples jobs and getting paid minimum wage, they have already gotten rid of 2 on my team the past 2 month. I don’t understand the logic.

Have they got any money left to pay for VR? Seems like they’ve run out of money to pay pension contributions into Scottish Widows... May contributions should have been credited by June 22 at the LATEST. But still not been paid by this morning.... Cashflow issue perhaps?
No point doing a better than good job anymore. You work your socks off, you follow corporate prodecures. They give you a worthless good or better or brilliant grade.. No payrise... then you won't ever be considered for VR because your grade locks you in. It is clear DXC is sinking faster than a concrete block with a massive lead weight attached to it. Why leave with nothing when those who don't and have never bothered do? integrity counts for nothing in DXC.. Let's all start not giving a sh1t and let ML know...

On our account people who applied for VR didn't get it, but then get put in to a pool with others in CR? how does that work out?
It is more new ones init. I’ve been told I’m in a self selecting pool, I’m Chesterfield based.
It's not more, it's the same redundancies. Looks like they're trying to encourage those "identified" individuals to put in for VR before the CR starts.
