Sad state of affairs losing all that knowledge and expertise built up by hard working Americans and offshore on a dime to lower cost centres, personally they should do the bear minimum knowledge transfer and support to the new people on the ground, even if they do this this company couldn't do anything about it.
Good luck running the security function out of India when the minimum requirement for governments is typically a government security clearance and citizenship, neither of which provide citizens of India with a restricted role.
Whilst Computing jobs are relocating to low cost countries, they're disappearing in a puff of cloud smoke.
Give it a few years, and there'll be hardly any IT provision capability in western economies because unlike manufacturing, no goods need to be shipped.
Not only that machine learning (Not Bionix - its rubbish vapourware) will store the best of what you and your colleagues do. Machine learning will replicate knowledge better than you could possibly do by yourself. IT will do it cheaply, instantly, whenever asked, 24 hours a day and in parallel for thousands of customers every second.
