Heard from a few colleagues in the Americas this morning that they got notice

We have lost 2 people in my team on Monday who worked with two major Americas accounts. They received no severance pay and released at the end of the day.
Travel and Transporation in Americas was hit pretty bad. This is on the account side since they had already decimated technical staff in previous WFRs.
Keep the resume current, folks.
This has all the hallmarks of a shutdown. Projects on the supposed key growth digital areas cut suddenly, staff on teams just waiting in the queue, managers know they will be given their own WFR as they finish culling their own teams... there will be nothing to differentiate DXC from any low cost tech provider..they are culling the knowledge and replacing it with people that will be as lost as a fart in a hurricane... then no amount of marketing will bring the contracts in.
They would have been better served cleaning up all the systems so they had a properly integrated process, ..how they ever got contracts to streamline others, I will never know..
So the engineering/architecture team of one of our "Next Gen Digital" offerings was completely decimated - to the point that I wonder if it basically got k--led.
Some speculation that they fudged the numbers as far as profits and the company is looking for a buy out or bankruptcy.
About 30 people from my group were let go today... what group if you were RIFF's you owe the company nothing
About 30 people from my group were let go today. The worst part is we had a big meeting with upper management on Friday telling us they were finding people positions on other teams and sites. They tried to make us feel hopeful with their spin.
@ZIveqRN-wei I literally have no idea how we're going to be able to accomplish anything on my team given the cuts that were announced today
Had some projects in-flight, when I was WFR'd. Not sure how they are going to handle that. They squired my company, a lot left right away, and now most remaining that I know are being laid off.
Why would you buy an ERP house filled with "Expensive" consultants if you didn't want them. I guess they wanted the clientele, although I don't think they wanted those either since they were mostly mid-small market.
I see a market for another company to come in and fill the vacuum that Tribridge and Eclipse left.
If applied for VR in UK ... do we hear back even if its rejected.
We have lost 4 people in my group since Friday. We can no longer function at this level, it is just a matter of time for the rest of us.
We had one WFR in our team this morning. I am sure there are more coming.
Show me the money baby !!
The current rumour is that everyone should hear back by the end of June, as the company wants employees off the books by end of July
