That's OK, they will refill the laid off head counts by hiring more young and good looking early talents. They can drink the blue kool-aid, do their silly song and dance in front of potential customers - just don't ask them any questions. They only know the tag lines and repeat them like robots ..

Bill and Luka stated that there will be 100K employees by the end of 2019. The positions will be filled by employees with the "right skills" but they failed to mention what kind of "skills" SAP needs in order to be competitive in the market. A lot of people are taking the ostrich approach until they are hit. There will be more cuts for sure ...

Of course there will be more layoffs throughout the year. Word on the street says SAP is facing steep resistance to S/4 HANA adoption. SAP will not hit their target for Q2 and Billy McDoormat will have to ask HR to chop more headcount. Oops, they forgot market their products properly and PR can't save them now.
