3 weeks waiting - nothing? Will we hear anything further for VR after they plan Chesterfield to close

There may be 1000 volunteers, but how many are being allowed to go? I know many good people who applied who have been refused VR. So the question is how many of the 1000+ applicants actually got VR? And how many does that’s leave in the CR pool?
I think that it is very poor and somewhat disrespectful to the uk&i workforce that despite the unite union letter and various posts on online forums like this and an article on the register this morning, that no official statement to the workforce has been communicated. If 2150 people have to be made redundant then there is nothing coming from management about this. The original VR program closed on Tuesday and 1000 or so people expressed an interest. Some people have already gone but it is obvious that compulsory redundancies are now required to get to this figure. As for responses to the report from DXC, it sounds like a reflex reaction without any basis for explanation.
Take it as an opportunity there are plenty of good and better paid jobs within 20 minutes off Chesterfield that many in DXC would be able to fill easily...
The other thread said they need 2150 redundancies in UK, had already 1000 volunteers then 300 at chesterfield so still leaves plenty of scope
Possibly not - probably in the next round of WFR which could happen at any time but at moment seems a frequent exercise within
