If you opted in, passed the SM assessment, did the VR assessment, what would be a good reason you wouldn't get a interview? I opted in I got a interview, can't be anything other than favoritism right?

This "event" was not really necessary where we are located. I was the only one for my store anyway.
My manager had to pick 4
I saw the list of the people that had put in for the people lead position in my market. The store manager was supposed to pick 1 person from his store to be interviewed . Out of 11 -12 stores in the market only 5 stores had chosen their personnel manager or training coordinator. The other stores chose no one for that position. There will be external interviews along with the 5 internal that were chosen. I was told that the store manager or market manager did not think the existing personnel people were capable of doing the new responsibilities that will come with the people lead position.
