As Ford is working on restoring the historic Michigan Central Station, it is also giving money away to the surrounding community in the form of grants.
Ford has committed $2 million over the next four years through the Community Benefits Agreement to support programs and opportunities for residents of the community. The grant recipients were selected based on votes from a panel of judges along with feedback from 200 local residents.

2022?? That's more than enough time for Ford's future prospects to tank again, for leadership to panic and cut all projects and plans again. It'll be deja vu all over again, for the umpteenth time. The Central Station project will be half finished and stalled for at least the next decade.
