It's a website rule, and not just on this forum, most forums don't allow personally identifiable info. Web admins here (the ones who let you post anonymously) don't allow posting names nor any other personal info, they nuke your post and block your IP if you try.
Although one is not fully stopped (can continue posting by using VPN), the blocking IP part is a little bit harsh punishment if you ask me. Some people do it by accident, one can easily get confused as we see the names of C-suits mentioned on almost every thread here. Thing is C-suits are already public figures, but everyone else (your colleagues, middle managers) are considered commoners and cannot be named nor described in such manner that someone can identify them for sure.
