I have noticed a steady stream of store manager openings since Fall 2018. An average of 50 per week. I was wondering if this is from a culling or feed up managers quitting. What ever one it is, it’s a good sign that things aren’t promising. We haven’t heard from PC in a while. Curious of what his thoughts are on all of this. Weren’t we suppose to be hearing about the survey we took at the end of the last calendar year?

But why are mit’s being hired over seasoned sm?
My guess is that managers are leaving to find a better work environment. A standard retail culture (everyone is stupid except senior leadership) and structure tends to drive high turnover.
PC should be addressing all levels! The trickle down communication approach adds no value to an organization that is struggling with culture.
Isn't a false lie the truth?
A survey is given when a consultant needs to validate what they're about to charge the company to fix whatever the survey made obvious is worth it. Often, it's a re-org. You value to the company is your work. They don't want your opinions, your observations and they certainly don't need to hear about your feelings.
You will not hear anything from these surveys because they are worthless wastes of money and time. Most employees give fake opinions and false lies.
