Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

I am deciding on different job offers and Intel is one of the companies. I was told that Intel has layoffs every year. I am trying to understand how often those impact the finance department. I know no job is going to be safe. However, I would like to get the opinion of current employees. Trying to get as much info as possible on each company, before I accept a job offer.
