I know quite a few people either left DXC or were let go. They all are doing well at other companies in the business, not just in terms of better payment and a better work atmosphere, but also in therms that they are some of the best performers. That said, we com to the conclusion that the system at DXC is rotten to the degree where good hard working people can’t make a difference, and to the point where it destroys its very own good performers/

I left DXC and went straight over to IBM ... Using my HP/HPE/DXC skills I have been able to improve my new organization... So I take this Approach ... I saw how a department "borns- lives and dies in DXC" and I am using that knowledge to avoid the same mistakes with the IBM (believe or not... IBM is not so mature as HPE was)
I can not agree more. Left DXC a while ago as it was really paralizing. Management that goes left and right and that bombards you with last minute changes that lead nowhere. as a worker you know it does not work and just adds up to your (already heavy) workload. Mandatory tools being implemented without being tested (and so they do not work) does not help when you are trying to close a deal with a customer in a few days. It felt like you needed to get your project through despite an internal war that is trying to stop you from being succesful. A big oil tanker that is stearless on the ocean with a blind captain that gives in structions but who has never seen water. I am now an entrepreneur myself, and am so much more happy. I can make my own decission based on analytics and feeling. I try for my own company to keep up to speed with all the changes both commercial and technical, and to be honnest, I think my business is more digital now then DXC will be in the next year. So Funny, as DXC fired so many older (experienced) people with a stupid excuse of not being DIgital enough. I used to be a cloud architect with focus on SAP Hana and with a big interest in AI and Blockchain. But Mikey can - due to his high age - not follow anymore with new Digital developments (that are actually not so new anymore) so he thinks all older people are like that - and decided that as many +45 age people as possible need to leave the company . He was just so ignorant to know that +45 age people in his company were often in possitions where they were obliged to be on top of all new technologies when they need to make solutions for customers ...(which new graduated are not yet). I am so happy to be out!
Agreed. I knew a lot of good people when I worked there who were very ineffective. I myself questioned my own self-worth every day and wondered if I was good enough. Since leaving, I am a star performer in my new company and feel energized to be there. I have also hired 3 former DXC'ers and they are excelling as well. It is amazing what you can do when you have the freedom and support to do so.
And for you nay-sayers who troll these boards telling us how inept and lazy we are, I worked 80 hour weeks while at DXC and was assigned to multiple large accounts. I was on the delivery side and there was just no way to do a good job when we didn't have the right personnel, the right resources or budgets and customers yelling at us every day because we couldn't deliver what the sales team had promised.
