Additional San Jose layoffs occured at end of July: The 5G SOC group was notified in May.
there was a tiny layoff in San Jose in March 2019: Nokia sold a tiny obscure division in SJ to II-VI, so about 2/3 of the group went over to II-VI in Dec 2018, remainder 1/3 stay on payroll to end of March (and were notified around Dec 2018), and were then officially laid off... (I was one of the ones who got laid off, Nokia is pretty generous with their severance package, thanks Nokia! while I cannot speak for those who ended up at II-VI of course, but I would guess they wish they were still with Nokia or at least wish they were laid off by Nokia).

There were cuts in USA in Mobile Network last week - jobs shipped to China and Poland.
Beijing, hundreds off.
Hopefully 1 from Finland on Tuesday the 21st.
