Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Layoffs just keep going on and on

What's going on with Citi lately? Can we have one week without a new layoffs notice? Is that too much to ask for?

Is the situation really that bad that cutting people left and right is so desperately needed that we can't even get a break? We have even stopped counting how many have been let go...

Seriously Citi?

Laid off today in Texas. I didn’t see it coming after my evaluation was one of the top in my division. it doesn’t matter if you are at the top or at the bottom of a performance based compensation plan.

Unless you have a decent severance on the line. I'd try to get out now.

It used to always be the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of the month for job actions. Now it’s happening random days and each week. Getting way to stressful waiting to see if it’s your turn to get your notice. Employees mean nothing to Citi.

I agree and I am tired of this roller coaster ride. More were let go this morning in O'Fallon. Claims, loss analysis, audit. I do not know numbers but its very stressful and degrading to go into this place each day not knowing what is going to happen.
