Our fearless leader told us how much agony he was in when trying to decide if he should sign his 5 yr extension (with MILLION dollar bonuses) and hefty base pay increase, all while planning his trip to NYC to file for Ch 11.
Did anyone read the company's response to the US Trustee's objection to the KEIP/KERP? It sounded like a bunch of cry babies that were ticked off because mommy wouldn't buy them a toy. They argued more about getting the KEIP/KERP than anything I've seen before. Just think if they put that much effort into keeping our customers and actually running the company.
So let's set the stage. they get millions for meeting lower goal projections (lower than "business as usual" projections). These are numbers that each and ever employee is dependent on doing their job, and sometimes jobs of others, in order to meet.
So let's take a tech. They must meet time per task goals, now meet "Points per job" goals, repeat truck roll goals, Loopcare goals, running CARP and FT Console goals, fill out this form and that form, do OSP eng and Sales eng jobs (in the form of site surveys), miss one day sick.....need to meet better attendance goals,compliance goals, etc........ Each year those numbers for the goals increase. And what do you get for meeting and exceeding your goals for the year, NOTHING.....You are told this is not a prison, WS don't lock the doors!
I have talked to many techs who have told me that they are getting power disc notices for central offices, have had several get called out because power has been disc to remotes in the field. They have had city water turned off. There are a bunch that are now battling non payment issues for the dumpster/garbage pick up, with dumpsters not being dumped for over a month or longer and trash just piling up every where. Offices had cleaning schedules cut back and techs are bringing in toilet paper from their own homes.
We are using a DIP to run our day to day operations. We are using a loan to run the business ever single day. Yet instead of worrying about paying our bills and being aggressive about it, all TT and company can do is argue and cry to the courts that they need more money for their bonuses, for goals they have nothing directly to do with, while those directly responsible for meeting the goals, are c-apped on every single day. And NO, a 10 second "thanks for all everyone does" video does not make any of us feel better.
Just shows how much they care about themselves and could care less about the company and everyone else. A true leader will get down in the trenches and fight with his men. A coward sits back and takes credit for the victories won with the blood, sweat and tears of all that sacrificed to get the victory. If TT and crew want to step up and be true leaders, then let hem start by not giving a c-ap about bonuses for themselves, and get down and dirty with everyone else and actually earn "IT"
PS....."IT" is not just their bonuses, but the respect and trust of all those under them.
