Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC USA Turnover/Attrition exceeds 75%?

Since April 2017, my estimate is that for field delivery and sales (including Management) voluntary resignation is over 75% since DXC was created. All the good people from HPE saw the Lawrie management dictatorship and left. That means that those new hires in the US (namely from India) are a different new group and have failed miserably in managing the remaining HPE employees and have failed in hiring new blood that can grow revenue and customer sat.

DXC is being led by a group of “ followers” vs. leaders in the US in field delivery and sales. Clients don’t like them since they were accustomed to an HPE style of management. I suspect those former CSC employees just sit there and grind their teeth.

Former HPE employees got out and those that are still left are in the process of leaving via a welcomed WFR. Horrible company; horrible leaders in the US. Hope the others regions have faired better.

It is senior management within DXC that has transformed HPE/CSC employees into being "followers" rather than being "leaders". Senior management has taken away the resources, freedom, and morale necessary for DXC professionals to do their job properly. It is their decisions and policies that have led to this point. Senior management hilariously doesn't understand this, because they keep wondering in Town Halls why people are so complacent and passive (see following), and not becoming the "leaders of their own careers". Heck, I realized not too long ago that my manager is simply being told what to do by senior management and nothing else. The worst experience so far was that there was an afternoon drink at the office and you had to pay for it yourself. Unbelievable. Guess how many showed up.

The company which I joined got acquired by DXC and I am having worst days of my life. Thankfully I have resigned now and will be leaving the organisation in couple of weeks.

One of the worst organization without any doubt !

I agree; I am still here as a former HPE employee and don’t have many former HPE employees to work with. Most are all gone in the field. Many are still there in the DXC back office doing admin work that I worked with or in HR but in field delivery or sales; most have left. I guess HR in DXC is a growing entity with all the layoffs they have to administer and is the best job for employment security in DXV. And yes, you’re right; there has been an influx of new hires with India names who have been named to management roles here in the US. They have no clue in how to manage or motivate employees; especially US employees. Looking for a new job ASAP and waiting for my WFR. Time to get out.

Good post and reasonable estimate as a former HPE employee. Hey; since it’s Mothers Day here in the US; happy Mother’s Day to DXC management ; you mother f*s ruined many employee careers due to your lack of management, leadership and greed.
