Who is the client ?
If the client was so committed to you , Wouldn’t it be better if they hired you on more directly ? They can’t or won’t for particular contractual reasons . But that should also tell you the there is little loyalty on both sides . They want your expertise but won’t put right employ you for it (letting DXC pay the employment expenses is a win win for them) .
When the end comes . And it will . I hope you working relationship with the client bears such fruit . After watching so many “ valued” DXC employees get the hatchet , being rehired directly from the client is rare . They want good workers but they don’t want to pay for it either ... or they would hire you on the spot .
My account has been able to respond no to attempts to wfr individuals that are named in the contract numerous times.
Yes i am afraid so. I used to think they couldn’t but seen it happen so many times that it is he norm. They have to inform the account lead who does the usual convincing that he impact of change will be minimal and that a similar skilled resource will be used, which we know is nonsense. I only saw true client argue once and DXC backed down due to a High risk service project, but soon as it was finished they were wfr’d as if to say Thanks for your hard work now get out
Sure ... you are still an employee , DXC’s employee , cargo and not the client. They will pay the penalty as they have done with other broken contracts . Sorry but it happens
