Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Business resources allocation

Well the company no longer allocates resources to the business so why should any of the remaining employees invest any more time or energy? Especially since the lack of resources was the result of intentional layoffs and outsourcing. They made their beds now they can lie in it. I do the bare minimum and not a thing more. You will never find me working at 6 pm on a Friday for this place. Not after what they've done. Nope.

The goal is to replace FTEs with contractors. Reduce costs is the plan, management does not care about product quality.

A sure sign of a department in flux is having constant meetings scheduled. Most of it is boilerplate BS.

You shouldn't. You should leave. Are you too lazy? Scared? What? Lets talk about your inaction...

Why would my boss still talking about how to align our work more towards the objectives and planned a mid year review with me? I guess he either has nothing important to do or he still thinks he can make a career out of this shhitt place by being innovative on creating useless reports? He does not get it, people dont care and dont even read or pretend to read the reports and Powerpoints I generate! Funny!
