Must be cold because there are still a lot of snowflakes on here.

@YyueKDt-mru - sorry it seems like I triggered you with a micro-aggression. I assume you have returned from your safe space and temporary use of coping strategies to help you through this tough time, so I will use small words so you can follow along:
1 - you seem upset that the workers that got f'd over by XRX and HCL (401K, benefits, rebadging, merit freezes, etc) are actually fighting back versus just bending over and taking it. That makes me laugh and is a testament to the absolute cluelessness of management.
2 - hurting the workers that are left? Let us use an analogy here (do you know what that means?) Anyway, XBS is the freaking titanic because Johnnie douchebag and l'il Carl Icahn ruined the only part of XRX that was making them any money. The ship is sinking. There will be no one left. Seems like the only people that have the potential to be hurt by the formerly hard working and knowledgeable workers taking a stand are the id--t bureaucrats at XRX, d-bag JV, and l'il Carl. Good. Choke on it.
3 - we know the battle is lost yet it's nice to get a few punches in before we go to a competitor. If it costs a few bucks in the sale price of this pig, then great. That will cost these a-holes millions.
4 - the colossal miscalculation by the bozos running this c-ap sandwich is hysterical. What made GIS successful was the local presence and partnership between the BACK OFFICE SUPPORT and Sales. They destroyed that with their short sighted actions. And what happened? Sales fell. Expenses will rise. Expertise gone to competition. And Competitors picking off talented employees. And you think 1Q was bad? Just wait until 2Q numbers hit. Oh, and by not being up front with the employees, NO ONE trusts anyone in leadership any longer. Some teams in the cores have lost 80% of their employees (that is 4 out of 5 people in case math is hard for you.)
5- I bet they see this unfolding disaster too and are now scrambling to pull together some last minute meeting between the 'leaders' of the entities to figure out what to do next. And picking HCL?! They can't even get a conference call to work right. But I guess no one would be able to understand them if it did though.
Were you able to follow along buttercup? Hope so. Have a great week - and enjoy watching what was left of a GREAT COMPANY crumble due to the incompetence of Johnny d-bag and Icahn.
I don't think it's cold in Guatemala or India where all our jobs went. Though it might be cold living on the streets after you pay your $7,500+ in family premiums, your $6,000 deductible and your $13,000 out of pocket if anyone in your family actually needs medical care.
What a jerk. Why are you even on here? This site is for questions, sharing information and yes, venting. Many of us were with X for many decades and the abrupt loss of wages, drastic cut in severance and immediate loss of healthcare left many of our lives in shambles. It did mine.
Best guess, you’re the office pipsqueak, too chicken sh** to ever say something like you did, face to face. You, freak, are the snowflake. Go back to your safe place.
Greed knows no bounds in 2019. There will be a reckoning.
To OP (Johnny V),
I wish I could be there when the American people vote in a President who reigns in tax breaks for the Rich and Corporations such as Xerox. There is a way to do it without hurting SMB and it will be done.
Best of all, is when corporate stock buy backs are curtailed. Then you’ll have no way to hit your eps targets, because you completely s--- as a business person, in my opinion.
I bet you’ll be the snowflake all the way up to 2020 election!
But you're on here???? like all the time, so you must be freezing!
i feel bad for because you must seriously have no life!!!
Takes a pretty sad person to come on here and make asinine comments like this. How about trying to use a few more brain cells to express yourself instead of name calling anonymous people on the internet?
Oh cool. Another dumb post made by someone with the intellect of a 12 year old. Helpful.
Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind
@YyueKDt-dwi - No, it sounds like you are intentionally hurting the coworkers you are leaving behind in a feeble attempt to convince yourself that you have value. Adopt a dog or something if you are that desperate to receive acceptance. You had a job, you got paid, and now you have moved on. Deal with it. P.S. If you are wondering "why" Johnny V. and Icahn are doing what they are doing, type "xrx" into the google search bar. You will find it's at a 52 week high.
Nope. High of 74 here in Texas. Almost time to get in the pool.
The thread starter was DESTROYED by the epic post below. #micdrop
Nope just a bunch of people who have a brain in their skulls permitting us to question why Johnny douchebag and little Carl Icahn would wreck the only part of xerox worth a F (GIS) and replace the people who made it great with these HCL dummies that can’t even get a conference call to work right.
I bet you are one of the people working at xerox corporate that contributed to their lack of business plan and general horrid overall process flow that caused the debt to be downgraded to junk in late 2018 that led to this mess, aren’t you? Hahaha.
The ‘snowflakes’ out here are getting the last laugh. We are effing the company over by resigning and going to competitors. And making more money while doing that. But before we do that we are dumping huge supply orders to customers to drive up expenses and telling them we are getting replaced by India based workers and informing them to call up competitors. That doesn’t sound very snowflakey to me
