Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Are badgers signing new contracts with HCL?

Or are they just transferred by automatism. How does it even work? If new contracts are being signed could that affect your status in the sense that they offer lower benefits, less pay, worse conditions…. Or are the rebadgers guaranteed to have at least what they were making at Xerox?

While all cores do the same things, we all do them differently, depending on the size of the core, to truly streamline , all 40 cores would need to be sharing the same EA datsbase, that is a monumental task. just converting to EA was a year long project and not all people got badgef, so how can HCL expect someone who does not work for them to do what they say?

This whole thing of involving HCL will go down in the history books as one of the poorest business decisions ever made! People still left here will get so frustrated trying to train people in India that it will be a disaster!!

From the whispers I’ve heard, the official contract between XBS and HCL hasn’t even been signed. Apparently it’s happening this Monday or Tuesday. There’s been a lot of pushback since the announcement and HCL was not the least bit prepared, nor did they realize the scope of streamlining processes from 40 cores. This is a sh--show.

Badgers had to sign offer paperwork and acceptance, some got bonuses, pay is the same, benefits like medical, dental, hsa and 401k changed to hcl's plans, tenure carried over as long as you are a contractor for xerox, agreement with xerox is for 3 years, if by chance (and you won't be) still working for xerox by then you will then revert to all HCL and lose Xerox tenure, benefits are cheaper with HCL and unlike Xerox they will match 401k every pay period
