New Price Change Procedures

So CVS has thought another process through. So now we must activate our Price Changes BEFORE printing the labels. The system blocks you from printing until active. Well now we have incorrect prices through out the store until the labels are put up. Since most prices are rising this is an issue. With our staffing (or lack there of)and with the size of some of these events it could be hours or even the next day that they are completed. I can see Weights and Measures be all over this.

Try doing price changes and running register, helping customers, checking in vendors, pog's and backing up RX at the same time. I asked my child to come in and do the PC's for me.

Call you states weights and measure office or submit a complaint online at state website. What theiir doing is illegal if the price discrepancies in the store are over a allowable percent. ( state by state ) W&M will have someone visit the store and follow up.. Keep a log

In the mean time customers that we so concerned about are overcharged... just to be able to blame someone for price discrepancy.

All it is is another gothcha.. doesnt really solve any pricing, coupon or shrink issues

Just put up the price changes. It’s not that hard

Whenever you finish a reset scan those sections.....this will add more scans to your total and raise your percentage....if they want a number give them one

Hmm, I see corporate has found another under handed way to "remove" targets.

Corporate IS aware of the unatainable expectations at store level.

Just another dart.

This is how they will make sure we get them done on time. Think out how CFR plays into this. You have to activate them BEFORE printing. If you do a BOH scan and have not changed the labels you will flag. We need to have 98% accuracy which is going to be a problem if we can’t keep up with the price changes. 2 months non compliance is a write up. Try not activating the price changes to shield you and then you still lose because that goes against your compliance as well. No way out of this one.
