I think the announcement was probably about the technology operating model from Tim Sheen.
Anthem have been offshoring Jobs outside the country for years now and I have never heard anything out from the media about it. So really doubtful anything will change now since Anthem most probably have powerful lobbyist preventing things from getting out. If anybody out there thinks otherwise, please do make a move to expose Anthem's despicable business practices.
Be prepared to go to the media or your congressional representatives. Anthem is offshoring not only the jobs, but the data. Violating State and Business requirements for data access offshore by using an “Anthem” company...Legato. Smoke and mirrors.
Little known secret...Legato is not going to do all the work. They don’t have enough people so they turn around and subcontract the work to vendors in India. I have plenty to take to the local newspaper, poison pill in place. Legato workers are lazy. Don’t want to work projects they are assigned to. Just want to work on “New Technologies”. Quite a feat when Anthem is so very far behind other organizations when it comes to IT.

Major funding cuts for projects and Lights-on, IT workplace strategy ramping up and Legato resources being strategically being placed to take over ... dark times ahead ....
