don't forget the LSC 100-150K BONUSES every year. I'm sure that contributed to the money woes as well.
years, try over a decade. It's the blind leading the blind. All the money made from the MyMathLab cash cow was wasted on: e-College (what a joke), REVEL (LOL), I lost count of how many itirations of "next-gen" that never released, and all of the other sub-par homework platforms which left Pearson.....

This was on the money! Hard to believe this it happened again after last year. Why is it that promises are made that “we are done with reorganization’s” and then exactly 12 months later - boom! How can Pearson expect any motivation out of anyone when they lie and treat employees like this? Morale has been low for years! How much worse can it get?

Anyone here about reps all becoming generalist & moving into a hybrid role?
I for one can't wait to get my payout and say adios! 10 years, only missed goal 2x, many time LC, and a history of exceeds expectations in perf evals, but I have never faced more scrutiny and flat out BS than I have for the last year. Not sure if it's my age, my salary, or something else, but for some reason RM put a target on my back and I've spent the last year doing more CYA than selling and servicing customers.

It's expected that a certain % of Reps that were hanging on until bonus payouts will likely bolt 5/4. Territories will then be evaulated and look to cut Reps. Expect 20-25% reduction in field sales force. Accounts will be moved to Nat Region. New hires (down the line) will be inside.
They always seem to hit the sales force in early June. Wonder if the early payouts will result in earlier layoffs... And if they will use the same formula as they did with CS and GP - everyone gets cut and you have to reapply for whatever is left. Here we go again!
Do you really think reps will be eliminated again? What about DSS and DM’s? Kind of funny how we talk about disruption creates opportunity yet we are the biggest disruptors of all creating lots of opportunities for others to take our business that is merely hanging on by inertia!

Anyone have a clue what will happen to sales reps? Layoffs or role change?
Basically the portfolio management team had to choose between reapplying for their jobs or take a severance package. Just when you think they could not value their employees less, they find a new bottom.
If they're doing something like this, we can 100% guarantee it's NOT out of kindness. Rather it's something self - serving, selfish and geared towards executive survival. So transparent and pathetic.
What does this mean?
Rinse, wash, and repeat.
