Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

This is what employers want

Read this and thought it fit Chesapeake to a tee. Of course, I'm sure it fits majority of companies these days, but it's still a funny read.

Employers are ideally looking for an employee with the wisdom of a 50 year old, the experience of a 40 year old, the drive of a 30 year old, and the pay scale of a 20 year old.

There was a while that I was seeing regular job opening described as Entry Level w/ 5 years experience required. What? That's not entry level

Spot on. Sorry, you’re not 20, with 20 years of experience? We don’t want you. The only person in the company that gets a pass on all the these criteria and performance expectations is the CEO.
