Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

I think it is unfair to suggest that DXC does not have a set direction. It certainly does have a direction; but you may need a shovel!

DXC does exist yes. It's logo and its $28B of assets. If you're on the inside, it probably won't feel that you are working for a wealthy company and even if the many investigations from court cases brought from investors and previous employees were to win, it would unlikley make too much of a dent in its stock.

Although DXC can't yet be considered a failure, many of the staff who still work there would disagree. After all, it reached number 12 in the 2018 glassdoor's 'worst company to work' league. It's employee survey was on par with the 'book of the dead' and its stock has been up and down more times than a kangeroo in the mating season. It is true to say, however, that DXC has failed to make the anticipated growth within the digital market, despite its fast-food, menu-style offerings aimed at turning the heads of legacy customers with its RDS, MCaaS, CRM, HCM, SCM, SRM, Cyber, Consulting, Mobility BI and a coke to go. It's throwing all the ingredients into the pot in the hope that something good will come of it. When the taste proves to be unpalatable, it simply removes the infection with its policy of slash and burn.

From the outside, we've seen DXC stumble like a dinosaur with athlete's foot as it fails to leverage its marketing and delivery into a cohesive offering proposition. It's legacy customers (still a reliable source of income) are not investing in the way DXC thought they would. Instead, in a world full of risk and uncertainty right now, they are preferring to tighten their own purse strings and weather out the storm. Meanwhile, the global black and white continues to pursue its policy of burning through its fuel of assets, people, skills and experience to stoke the margins and convince wall street that is still a pure play and not just a pile of ash.

I think it is unfair to suggest that DXC does not have a set direction. It certainly does have a direction; but you may need a shovel!

Well said @YrutRPk-aii

Not true ... Mikey provides DXC employees with a paper-thin roof over their heads and some shekels of payment for turning up to work. At this rate being on unemployment benefits is looking very attractive.

It's obvious Lawrie only cares about himself and lining his pockets on the backs of others. Sabre gives raises, promotions, bonuses and profit sharing yet he gives nothing to his employees that make his millions.
