We all come in to work not knowing what the news of the day is. We have a job for the most part. Be sure though that your store manager knows more than they let on. Don't think you are their friend because they know what's going on and they DO know the bad news. They will try and save their job before you.
Welcome to the new world order. There will always be someone willing to do the job faster and cheaper. Change or die. Kids in school today need to worry about competing on a global level. Heck we all should probably start worrying.

Our Sears and neighboring Kmart were told on Friday that we are safe but then Saturday were told that no store is safe and there will definitely be another round of closings. These will be Kmart stores. Also a few Kmart stores will be sharing half the stores with either a tractor supply or ace hardware. Truth? Who knows because at this point no one seems to know anything.
Eddie told the sgm of 1171 that if he got a tramp stamp of Ayn Rand, Eddie would keep the store open for a bit longer. He complied so we're good for a bit.
The promise over and over by fast Eddie to not close more stores or layoff workers is just a sheep in wolves clothing people. There are closings and layoffs coming and more sooner than later.
