The company should align profit with other corporations, not working hours.
Mattel always always always does this. Some big wig like the CEO or RD come out and announces some sweeping new benefit or policy change and tells everyone more details soon to come from HR and then weeks, and then months go by with no follow up or clarification and everyone is left scratching their heads. Could Mattel HR be more ineffective?
does everyone in ES get to leave at 2:00 like EA does?
The new hours for exempt employees are 9 to 5, Monday through Friday.
So how does the new hours work? 8 hours including lunch for Monday to Friday?
It was meant how does leaving at 4pm or 3:30 align with other corporations. They will call Mon-Fri late afternoon and no one will be there to respond.
@YqT6JvT-1lku Easy for you to say. See how easy it is when they lay you off.
@YqT6JvT-1snd The unemployed rate is 3.8%, no excuse to be unemployed unless you don't want to work.
At least you still have jobs
Someone asked how this aligns with other corporations. We work a full day Friday and don’t complain about it. Geez.
Exempt employees will just work from home on Friday’s. The poor hourly workers are the ones who lose on this deal. Hours have been changed to accommodate so please don’t call anyone after 4 now. How does that align with other corporations now?
It's just about 5 o'clock in East Aurora, how're out FP brothers and sisters holding out? Any brave souls still in their cubes?
Today YK is the most reviled person at matthell
Instagram we love Fridays working late
I’ve never seen morale this low. Hey YK, why not come over to the Design Center and see what you’ve done?
There's an entire chapter in YK's business managment book How I Get To Work: Outsell, Outmanage, Outmotivate, and Outcrush Your Competition dedicated to the art of "Adding Insult to Injury" as a way of crushing his subordinates spirits in order to keep them in line. It's actually a great book and really highlights YK's way of thinking when it comes to managing a company.
Don't push your luck. Does YK seem like the kind of guy who takes insubordination lightly?
I’m leaving at 1!
