Saw this coming six months ago. Why didn't you?

"Thomson Reuters Legal (TRL) is now being prepared for sale to one of the Big Four accounting firms (perhaps PwC) in the year 2020."

@3eaq Me neither. I seriously don't think Reuters is worth paying $300m a year for. Their news is irrelevant for the financial markets and worse, they've been embarking on all these highfalutin projects like "newsroom of the future". Uh...how about focusing on the present and plug the holes in coverage

Given all the selling and restructuring, I can't figure out how Reuters still fits into all of this.

Thomson Reuters the incredibly schrinking company. TR was a $14 billion company in 2011 now after selling: Healthcare division, IP and Science division, Property Tax consulting, majority ownership F/R, Pangea3 now TR is a $5 Billion company. It is crystal clear the Thomson family whats to liquidate everything - how can you blame them operating results have lagged peers for years.

It's official now. "Legal Managed Services" was known as Pangea3 before they were acquired by TR.

Which teams will be impacted? Westlaw? Legal Tracker? Edge? I thought with Corporates coming in, some legal and accounting products will not be impacted. I am very worried.

Well, that's too bad. More people with casual/part-time employment out of a job. I have to say though, that it's a little annoying to walk by those folks' area when I'm working my butt off 8 hours a day and see 1/2 of them on their phones, a number of them drowsing and others idly chatting.
