Field Tech Expectations email

So, what do you guys think of this latest piece of propaganda? Actually took the time to read it. Christ himself couldn't meet all their expectations. No sleeping on the job.....No, say it isn't so.

Looks like a handy tool to get rid of almost all of us.

They sat us down as a group and read it to us word for word. Then we had to sign an acknowledgement that we read it.

"At will employment leave if you don't like it. CTL owes you nothing but a paycheck …"

You are wrong, when you put in a resume for hire and negotiated they present themselves as a company that wants to grow and treat you fairly, in turn you would do your best to make the company a profit, they promised benefits and salary compensation at a rate better or equal to the competition.

US West was the third ranked company for Benefits and compensation when I hired in, where we are not called US West they are responsible for the contracts negotiated when they bought the company, my cover letter was accepted as part of that and had items that by accepting they would try to accommodate. When you sign your acceptance for hire they are also agreeing to what your wishes were as well, why it's called an employment contract. These like all others are grandfathered into the company when it is bought.

Why the Union doesn't push these breaches I am still baffled by.

I think his or her point was, what kind of company has employees that need to be told no sleeping on company time.

Personally, i like "no returning to report center or CO to use the bathroom" if you have to take a c-ap at other times than lunch or break. I guess you are supposed to ask an already p-ss-d customer to c-ap up their c-apper. That should make the customer experience better. Lol.

Damn forgot you can't edit, to follow that thought, you don't see a expectations for the company. They do forget that it's a contract between you and them.

Did you just join the company, that has been in effect for ever, they tweak a bit here and there, but if you think sleeping when your getting paid is ok then maybe they have a point.
