Taking Q private was a pipe dream to begin with. PJ is a child.

Can understand where OP going. Dividends are a cash cow and would end under PJ takeover. It’s all about the Benjamins baby!

What kind of logic is that? You do not want to make money because you will pay taxes

PJ is quoted

"relative to its earnings (Qualcomm) had become less attractive" and “As Qualcomm’s position changed, the conditions weren’t right to take it private,”

Interpreted it means, as Qualcomm continues to fail under SMs lack of leadership, there is not enough of a Qcom future left to interest him. The low IQ OP can sleep well tonight knowing he won't have to worry about paying tax on stock or RSU gains. Makes no sense to me though why the OP doesn't want to generate financial gain for himself

I totally wish PJ or almost anyone would aquire Qualcomm. I'm imagining a huge taxable event, when QCOM price triples or more, why wait. And a great chance the layoffs will stop, and guaranteed our work environment and morale will improve. Let's say 'you're fired' to our village id--t Mollencough.
