Just because few are not performing, does not mean more of IDC come under fire.
It's about culture. Just develop a culture where initiative is appreciated. Also, you can not ask demotivated employee to give 100%. Managers proudly shared that difference between best and worst performer hike is of roughly Rs 50,000 I. E. Approx. $700. Do you really think all work just for passion?
As far as layoffs are concerned, they are going on in full swing
I wish they would get rid of more in India, there is always issues with them not being able to do anything that isn't written down. They throw it to someone else if they need to troubleshoot. It is exhausting.
It’s a temperory pause, they will keep laying off people to keep up with EPS.
