Sears sent a letter to retirees that their life insurance was being cancelled. My 85 year old mother received hers March 15.

Never put it past Eddie Lampert to take another opportunity to screw over the elderly while he skims another billion or two.
You can get comparable life insurance from Alex trebek commercial on tv.
I'm sure Eddie has good coverage.
My mother is still alive and very healthy. She is just scared about the insurance. She was quoted by Sears rep $3000 yearly premium to replace this benefit.
