Several people I know well and work alongside work at TCO. An all hands meeting was just held a week or two ago, for Purchasing and PD. The LL3s indicated the next wave was slated for end of May and not to expect much info from them before them.

That's what they are "saying". They are also "saying" that they don't have finalized plans yet on how to redesign the teams. While I can understand that finalized plans haven't been completed, I do think they have numbers to hit and headcount savings to realize that they are formally trying to hide for as long as possible to avoid media negativity.

By the way, my sources are saying the next round of cuts for teams in TCO is scheduled to occur on MAY 21. This is consistent with the LL3s messaging from the All Hands Meeting.

Maybe now they will realize not to build up the fat... everyone from the top down has been getting fat and lazy... all the real work (aside maybe from engineering) get down by folks outside not us.. they layered to many level of management and hired bodies that weren’t needed. We all seen it coming. For sure direction from the top must go.. Hackett WAD a mistake IS a mistake and WILL be the death of a great company if he doesn’t go.

TCO/FTC, cuts are inevitable. You are support for Current, & FMP. Which are being reduced , and simplified. Common sense trumps here, smart redesign whatever.

@1kxp - thanks for referencing your 30+yr tenure. Another person @ford who thinks because they have been there a long time thinks they know everything. Clearly the individual poster was making reference to TCO but has no idea what it was called. It has NEVER been referred to as FTC as that office opened only 3 years ago. Get off your high horse.

FTC did exist, as well as several other building names that have been referenced in these threads.

Long ago, but not forgotten, for those that resided in them...Tenure +30 years.

Spot on....I work there....they have already reserved some conference rooms with unusual "subject" titles, which I know did not exist 6 months ago......cuts are coming to I-tek building as well for especially IT....H1B targeted as well

It’s actually called TCO. Being you don’t know that, I have a difficult time believing you have any idea about what’s going on.
