Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Not just a layoff, a divestment

High degree of certainty Oracle is about to shed an entire tech business unit... Not sure which one yet, but I'll update when I find out.

Luckily, for those who survive they are shopping out to firms that will probably be way more focused and employee friendly.

Where does cloud fraud fit into the financial of these businesses to be disposed of? A question any potenial buyer should think long and hard about. Go and interview a large number of custonets as part of the initial due diligence and then walk away.

And very badly managed by the most incompetent execs, all of whom would have to be fired and replaced by the buyer - EVPs down to directors - it is simply not possible to be a competent exec and survive at oracle so all that’s left are useless dregs. Wouldn’t take any of the oracle businesses if LE paid me millions to do it. It’s game over, lock the doors and throw away the keys.

Totally beyond me why anybody would be dumb enough to buy any of oracle’s businesses: massive underinvestment in products, terrible customer relationships, awful contracts, demotivated employees. That is, businesses that aren’t worth sh--.

Need money for those share buybacks plus none of the 3 stooges actually know how or want to actually run a tech company, so liquidate any way possible
